Much, Many, Little and Few ¿Cómo y cuando usarlas? MUCHOS O MUCHO
Se usan las palabras MUCH (mucho) y LITTLE (poco) antes de los sustantivos en singular.
Se usan las palabras MANY (muchos) y FEW (unos pocos) antes de los sustantivos en plural
Recuerda el uso de los modismos TOO MUCH/ TOO MANY / SO MUCH.
SINGULAR PLURAL
much (mucho INCONTABLE) many (muchos contable)
little .(poco) few (unos pocos)
EXAMPLES
- We do not have MUCH time
- How MUCH money do you have?
- How MANY children do you have?
- There is not MUCH water in the kitchen?
- There are MANY books on the table?
- Put a LITTLE more milk in the glass
- Only a FEW men worked yesterday.
- There were so FEW clean knives and forks in the kitchen that my wife could not set the table.
- Of course my husband is going to give you a LITTLE more time.
- That school is very big, but they have FEW teachers.
- I came to buy some books. How MANY do you have?
- I can not sleep well at night if i eat too MUCH
- We are going to the United States in a FEW old suits that he can give you.
