Much, Many, Little and Few ¿Cómo y cuando usarlas? MUCHOS O MUCHO


Se usan las palabras MUCH (mucho) y LITTLE (poco) antes de los sustantivos en singular.

Se usan las palabras MANY (muchos) y FEW (unos pocos) antes de los sustantivos en plural

Recuerda el uso de los modismos TOO MUCH/ TOO MANY / SO MUCH.

           SINGULAR                                                            PLURAL
           much (mucho INCONTABLE)                               many (muchos contable)
           little .(poco)                                                             few (unos pocos)


       EXAMPLES


  1. We do not have MUCH time 
  2. How MUCH money do you have?
  3. How MANY children  do you have?
  4. There is not MUCH water in the kitchen?
  5. There are MANY books on the table?
  6. Put a LITTLE  more milk in the glass
  7. Only a FEW men worked yesterday.
  8. There were so FEW clean knives and forks in the kitchen that my wife could not set the table.
  9. Of course my husband is going to give you a LITTLE more time. 
  10. That school is very big, but they have FEW teachers. 
  11. I came to buy some books. How MANY do you have? 
  12. I can not sleep well at night if i eat too MUCH 
  13. We are going to the United States in a FEW old suits that he can give you. 
  14. My husband has a FEW old suits that he can give you.
  15. Some if the boys were speaking English, but MANY of them were speaking spanish.
  16. Some day when i have only a LITTLE work I am going to finish that book 
  17. He did not go to movies because there were so MANY people there
  18. We did so MUCH work today, that i am very tired.  
  19. A FEW of the girls wanted to go to the movies. but MANY others wanted to go to mary´s house.
